Seven Continental Gilt and Enameled Crystal Stemware Pieces. Probably Bohemian or Central European, early to mid-20th century. Dimensions: Five goblets: 5.5 H x 2.5 Dia. inches each. Two compotes/coupes: 4.75 H x 4 Dia. inches each. Decorative assembled grouping of seven gilt and enameled crystal stemware pieces, likely of Bohemian or Central European origin. The lot comprises five matching goblets executed in pale amber-tinted crystal with wide gilt rims, engraved floral basket decoration, and acid-etched ornamentation. Accompanying the goblets are two striking ruby-pink coupe-form vessels featuring elaborate gilt scrollwork and fantastical bird motifs, raised on distinctive flared stems and petal-form bases highlighted with gilt striping. The combination of rich gilding, engraved decoration, and colored crystal reflects the long tradition of decorative glass production associated with Bohemian workshops. While the pieces appear complementary in presentation, they may have originated from related but separate services. Their elegant forms and lavish ornament make them well suited for display within a collection of fine decorative glass. No maker's mark visible. Attribution is therefore offered as Bohemian or Continental decorative glass in the manner of Moser and related luxury glasshouses. Condition: The goblets and compotes exhibit light wear consistent with age and use, including minor rubbing to gilt decoration and surface wear. No significant chips, cracks, or repairs are readily apparent from the photographs provided. The pink compotes show expected wear to gilding. This auction house considers the photographs to be the condition report. Provenance: From the estate of a distinguished Georgia physician, whose collection of fine art, antiques, jewelry, and decorative objects was carefully assembled over a period of decades.
