Three sealed bore brushes for the 6mm and .243 bore. The lot holds (1) one Hoppe's brush, item number 1301, marked 6 Millimeter, with DuPont Tynex nylon bristles, and (2) two Pro-Shot Products 6mm and .243 benchrest brushes, item 6R, with phosphor bronze bristles on a brass core. All three are still attached to their original printed cards and none has been run through a barrel. The cards show age yellowing, soft corners, staple holes and faded printing, and the Hoppe's card is the most aged of the three. Bristles are bright and full with no bent or missing rows. Condition is very good. The nylon brush is the one to reach for with an aggressive copper solvent, because ammonia based cleaners eat bronze and will read as false copper fouling on your patches, while the bronze brushes handle routine carbon. Authenticity and function have not been verified by Crawford Auction Service. Estimated Value: $10 to $20 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is.
