One sealed Real Avid Bore-Max Speed Brush sized for .22 and .223 caliber and 5.56mm rifles. The brush head is nickel plated rather than bronze and carries the wider Bore-Max bristle pattern. It is still sealed in its original printed Real Avid package and has not been run through a barrel. The package carries a Bear Arms retail tag marked $4.99 and shows light shelf wear with a soft corner and a small crease in the header card. The bristles are bright and full with no bent or missing rows. Condition is very good. Real Avid built the Bore-Max pattern with more bristles per row than a standard brush so it makes fuller contact on each stroke and cuts carbon and copper in fewer passes, which matters on a semi automatic that fouls quickly. It threads eight thirty seconds male, the common rifle cleaning rod thread. Authenticity and function have not been verified by Crawford Auction Service. Estimated Value: $5 to $10 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot. Written descriptions are a guide only and may contain errors.
