Pro-Shot 8mm Benchrest Bore Brush Pair

Updated September 23, 2026

Two sealed Pro-Shot Products 8mm benchrest bore brushes, item 8R, each with phosphor bronze bristles on a brass core. One is stapled into an older card and poly bag carrying an RJ's Guns price sticker marked $1.25, and the other is in a later clamshell with a red sticker marked $1.60. Neither has been run through a barrel. Both packages show age yellowing, water staining, soft corners and staple holes, and one bag is discolored along the seam. The bristles themselves are bright and full with no bent or missing rows. Condition of the brushes is very good and the packaging is fair. An 8mm brush fits the .323 bore of the 8mm Mauser, 8mm Remington Magnum and 8mm-06, all of which have a following among handloaders because factory ammunition is loaded soft and the cases respond well to a careful load workup. Authenticity and function have not been verified by Crawford Auction Service. Estimated Value: $10 to $20 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is.
