Thirteen bore brushes in two sealed packages. The lot holds (1) one Hoppe's brush, item number 1315, carded for .44 and .45 caliber, and (2) one sealed Pro-Shot Products poly bag, item 44P-D, holding one dozen .44 caliber pistol benchrest brushes with phosphor bronze bristles on brass cores. Neither package has been opened and none of the brushes has been run through a barrel. The Hoppe's card is aged with yellowing, soft corners and staple holes. The Pro-Shot bag is intact with its printed header stapled closed. Bristles are bright and full. Condition is very good. A dozen .44 brushes is a working supply rather than a spare, and they fit the .44 Remington Magnum, .44 Special and .44-40 Winchester, all of which foul hard with cast lead bullets. Bronze cuts lead and carbon out of the grooves without touching the steel. Authenticity and function have not been verified by Crawford Auction Service. Estimated Value: $20 to $40 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot. Written descriptions are a guide only and may contain errors.
