Lee 357 SIG 3 Die Set with Shell Holder

A Lee reloading die set for the 357 SIG in the red Lee storage box. The set is three dies, being the carbide sizing and decapping die, the powder through expanding die and the bullet seating die, with the shell holder and the printed Lee instruction sheet for the powder through expander die. The 357 SIG is a bottleneck pistol cartridge, a 40 Smith and Wesson case necked down to take a .355 inch nine millimeter bullet, and that bottleneck is why the right dies matter. The expander only opens the very mouth of the case so the neck still grips the bullet along its full bearing surface, which is what keeps bullets from setting back when a stiff recoil spring slams a round up the feed ramp. Dies for this round are not stocked everywhere, so a set turning up at auction is worth a look. Dies are clean with light surface oil and normal handling marks, threads and lock rings are intact and no rust or galling is visible in the photos. Condition is very good.
