A Lee carbide reloading die set for the 44 Remington Magnum, item 90512, in the red Lee storage box. The set is four dies, being a carbide full length sizing and decapping die, a powder through expanding die, a bullet seating die and the Lee Factory Crimp Die, along with the shell holder and the printed instruction sheet. The carbide sizing ring is the reason this set is worth having. A carbide ring sizes straight wall pistol brass with no case lube at all, which saves a messy step and a tumbling cycle on every batch. The powder through expander flares the case mouth and drops the charge in one stroke if you run a measure on top of it. The Factory Crimp Die then rolls a separate, square crimp into the cannelure, which is what keeps 44 Magnum bullets from jumping under heavy recoil in a revolver. Dies are clean with light surface oil and normal handling marks, threads and lock rings are intact and no rust or galling is visible in the photos. Condition is very good.
