Substantial console or sofa table featuring a rectangular wood top paired with an exceptionally heavy, ornate cast iron base. The base features dramatic scrolling supports with large C- and S-scroll motifs, decorative round accents, and multiple horizontal metal stretchers, creating an Old World, Spanish Revival, Mediterranean, or Southwestern-inspired appearance. Scrollwork and stretchers are established decorative and structural elements in traditional furniture design. Measures approximately 43" long x 14" deep x 31.25" tall. The narrow depth makes it well suited for use as an entryway table, sofa table, hallway console, or decorative accent table. The wood top and metal base show surface wear, marks, finish variations, and other signs of previous use; see photos for details. VERY HEAVY, estimated at approximately 85 lbs. Due to the substantial cast iron construction and weight, this piece may be difficult and expensive to ship.
