"Century Furniture" Custom Distressed Chair

Updated September 22, 2026

Substantial custom Century Furniture armchair from Hickory, North Carolina, upholstered in richly distressed dark brown leather with contrasting suede leather trim, decorative brass-tone nailhead studs, exposed wooden base, and turned wood feet. Century is a longstanding high-end furniture manufacturer with extensive custom upholstery capabilities in Hickory, offering numerous choices of leather, trim, finishes, cushioning, and frame configurations. This one-of-a-kind custom piece was built from scratch and features a generously sized removable seat cushion, rolled arms, nailhead detailing, and deep seating. Measures approximately 41" long x 43" deep x 37" back height, with a 19.5" seat height and 28" seat depth. The dark brown leather has a naturally aged, distressed character with visible scratches, scuffs, creasing, and surface wear, particularly across the seat cushion, consistent with previous use. A handsome companion to the matching custom Century loveseat offered separately in this auction and an excellent statement chair for Western, Southwestern, rustic, ranch, lodge, or traditional interiors. See photos for leather wear, upholstery, nailhead trim, woodwork, dimensions, and overall condition.
