Impressive “End of the Trail” sculpture after James Earle Fraser, depicting the iconic Native American rider slumped forward on his weary horse while holding a spear. The sculpture is signed “Fraser” and mounted on an oval black stone or stone-like base with an applied plaque reading “End of the Trail – By Fraser.” Features a dark bronze-tone finish with detailed modeling throughout the horse, rider, clothing, and textured ground. Measures approximately 13" tall, with the base measuring approximately 9" x 5". Shows age-related surface wear, patina, scuffs, and marks to the base. Exact age, foundry/maker, and metal composition have not been verified. Please note that this is a very heavy piece, and its substantial weight will impact shipping costs. A striking collectible for enthusiasts of James Earle Fraser, End of the Trail sculptures, Western Americana, Native American-themed art, equestrian sculpture, bronze-style figures, and American West décor. See photos for signature, measurements, details, and condition.
