Girandole Brooch, Diamonds, Rubies & Natural Wild Pearls with Gourd-Shaped Pearl Drop, Circa 1850-1870. 8.9*4.66cm Wt:24.95g Victorian Etruscan-Revival girandole brooch, circa 1850-1870, crafted in high-carat gold with twisted-rope ornament and bright-blue enamel work. A suspended old-cut pear-shape diamond is encircled by a halo of rubies. Further set with old-cut diamonds and multi-coloured gemstones, multiple swinging-chain tassels adorned with natural wild pearls, terminating with a gourd-shaped pearl drop. A sumptuous, colourful example of 19th-century Etruscan-Revival jewellery. All components intact, preserved in complete condition.
