A trio of vintage stereoviews featuring early 20th-century American landmarks and historical figures. The first card, published by Charles Bierstadt of Niagara Falls, New York, depicts a man on horseback positioned inside the hollowed trunk of the Fallen Monarch sequoia in the Mariposa Grove of Yosemite Valley, numbered 1816. The remaining two cards document the 1901 Pan-American Exposition in Buffalo, New York, and were photographed and published by B. W. Kilburn of Littleton, New Hampshire, with additional distribution marks for James M. Davis of New York, St. Louis, Liverpool, Toronto, and Sydney. View number 14502 shows water from Niagara Falls cascading through the central arch of the Electric Tower. View number 14546 captures President William McKinley and Mrs. McKinley seated with other dignitaries on a decorated stage. The silver gelatin prints are mounted on standard buff-colored curved and flat cardstock mounts with printed captions and publisher credits. The reverse of the Kilburn cards features the publisher stamp for B. W. Kilburn, Littleton, N. H. Condition: The cards exhibit minor edge wear and light bumping to the corners. There is scattered light surface soiling and minor foxing consistent with age. A notable dark smudge is present on the right-hand margin of the Yosemite card. The photographic images remain clear with good tonal range.
