This collection includes three hardcover volumes published during the mid-20th century. The first work is A Wanderer Among Pictures by E. V. Lucas, published by Garden City Publishing Company, Inc., Garden City, New York. This volume provides commentary on paintings in the major galleries of Europe and includes seventy reproductions of famous artworks. It is bound in black cloth and retains its original pictorial dust jacket. The second work is Blessed Are the Debonair by Margaret Case Harriman, published by Rinehart and Company. This memoir focuses on the 1920s and the author's youth at the Hotel Algonquin, featuring illustrations by Vasiliu. It is accompanied by its original pink pictorial dust jacket. The third volume is Fun Fare: A Treasury of Reader's Digest Wit and Humor, published by The Reader's Digest Association. This anthology is illustrated by Robert Day and features a two-tone blue and grey cloth binding with gilt-stamped mask decorations on the front cover. Dimensions: Standing height approx. 21 cm. Condition: A Wanderer Among Pictures is in fair condition with the dust jacket showing significant paper loss, heavy chipping, and tearing along the spine and edges. Blessed Are the Debonair is in good condition with minor chipping at the spine ends and corners of the dust jacket, alongside moderate toning. Fun Fare lacks its original dust jacket and shows fading to the cloth spine and light shelf wear. All volumes exhibit typical age-related toning to the pages.
