A vintage necklace composed of cream-colored simulated pearls. The pearls are graduated in size and individually knotted on a white cord for security. The necklace transitions from smaller beads at the terminals to a larger bead at the center. It is finished with a silver-toned metal fishhook clasp featuring a pierced filigree design. The clasp is stamped with the mark STERLING A (unconfirmed, recheck maker). Length: approx. 17 inches Pearl diameter: approx. 5 mm to 12 mm. Condition: Fair vintage condition. There is visible wear and peeling to the pearlescent coating around the drill holes of multiple beads. The cord is frayed at one terminal near the clasp. Professional restringing is recommended.
