A collection of vintage decorative ceramics and a boxed candle set. The group includes a shallow porcelain bowl featuring a hand-painted landscape scene with a sailboat and swans against a yellowish sky. The bowl is designed with a scalloped rim and subtle molded scrollwork, bearing a green backstamp on the underside consisting of a wreath enclosing the letter M, labeled Hand Painted Nippon. Also included is a porcelain bowl decorated with transfer-printed and hand-tinted pink and white rose sprays, finished with a heavy stippled gilt border on a ruffled rim. The base has a faint blue stamp identifying it as a Danish piece from the Blondie pattern series. A square earthenware bowl in the Chelsea pattern by James Kent Ltd. features a central floral bouquet and a flared, scalloped rim embellished with gold transfer-printed scrollwork. The underside is marked with a brown James Kent Ltd. Longton stamp and numbered 3015, with the pattern name Chelsea impressed into the body. The lot is completed by a vintage Danish candle set in its original packaging. The set contains two stearin taper candles with blue floral transfer designs and two white fluted holders. The holders are attributed to Denmark and flagged for unconfirmed silver hallmarks (recheck metal). The packaging is marked with a ship logo and the text Denmark Stearin. Condition: The collection shows signs of age and use. The Nippon landscape bowl has visible surface scratches in the center and a small firing pit on the interior rim. The rose-decorated bowl exhibits minor gilt loss at the rim and light surface marks. The James Kent bowl displays fine overall crazing and wear to the gold decoration. The candle set remains unused in its original packaging, though the cardboard shows age-related discoloration and the plastic covering is partially detached.
