This bone china tea set, manufactured by Aynsley in the B1646 pattern, comprises 1 set of teacups and matching saucers. The pieces are constructed from fine bone china and feature a broad emerald green border finished with a gilded rim. The decoration includes a gilded inner border composed of a scrolling arch motif with foliate pendants. Each teacup has a wide bowl form on a footed base, accented with a central gold band and a scrolling rococo-revival handle highlighted in gold. The saucers have scalloped edges and match the decorative scheme of the cups. Condition: The pieces are in good condition overall. There is minor surface wear and some light rubbing to the gilded rims and handle accents consistent with age and use. No chips, cracks, or repairs are apparent.
