This group of tea service pieces is manufactured by Royal Doulton in the Pastorale pattern, design number H. 5002. Crafted from English fine bone china, the set features a transfer-printed wildflower decoration in muted tones of rose, yellow, and blue with green foliage. Each piece is finished with a slender silver-toned trim along the rim. The assortment includes teacups, saucers, a creamer, and a lidded sugar bowl. The creamer has a square-shouldered form, and the sugar bowl is fitted with a solid periwinkle blue lid topped with a white floral-decorated finial. The underside of each piece bears a green underglaze backstamp featuring a lion standing atop a crown, surrounded by the words Royal Doulton England, above the pattern name Pastorale and the design number H. 5002. Dimensions: Teacup rim diameter approx. 3.5 inches; Sugar bowl base width approx. 4 inches. Condition: One teacup exhibits a significant hairline crack extending from the rim down through the body and across the base. The remaining pieces appear to be in good condition with light surface wear and minor shelf wear to the underside bases consistent with age and use. No other chips or repairs are visible.
