Dimension: 20 1/2"L. The dagger features a long, single-edged steel blade that tapers smoothly to a sharp point. The lower spine and forte (the section nearest the handle) are embellished with intricate gold Damascus inlay work, known as Koftgari. The design displays a repeating arabesque or vine scroll pattern. The remainder of the blade shows a deep vintage patina, mottling, and surface oxidation consistent with genuine age. The grip is constructed with two flat scales made of carved bone or stag antler, secured tightly to a solid steel full tang. The bone is detailed with small, circular dot-and-ring punch motifs grouped into patterns, providing an organic texture that improves handling traction.
