Dimension: 12 1/2"L / 19 3/4"L. The Blade is features a broad, double-edged straight blade with a prominent offset fuller running down the center, typical of military-issue kindjals. Constructed with a distinctively shaped "waisted" handle made from light-colored bone or walrus ivory in the center, sandwiched between a dark horn bolster (guard area) and a dark horn pommel cap held together by rivets. The Fuller features a single, deep asymmetric fuller running down the center of the blade. In traditional Caucasian kindjal forging (particularly from Dagestan, Georgia, and Circassia), fullers were offset or varied in number to lighten the blade while maintaining its rigidity. The scabbard features extensive silver mounts. It is adorned with decorative, scalloped-edge metal plates (locket, middle bands, and long chape) over a leather wrap.
