Dimension: The principal body panels showcase a relief landscape detailing a spotted deer (Lu / ?) standing beneath a gnarled pine tree (Song / ?). The reverse side is inscribed with a poetic phrase and imperial attribution in elegant running script (Xingshu): "Deep in the forest, one sometimes encounters a deer; at noon by the stream, no temple bells are heard." In Chinese culture, this classic pairing forms an auspicious visual pun representing longevity, prosperity, and high official rank. The teapot architecture features a stout square profile with softened, rounded corners (Sifang), an elegant stepped lid topped with a square button knob, a gracefully curved handle, and a sharply tailored up-turned spout. The base of the neck is further embellished with a hand-pressed repeating fretwork key pattern band.
