Dimension:18"x 27 1/2". The painting depicts a traditional Chinese beauty (meiren ??) styled in the delicate, fine-line Gongbi (??) tradition. Her elegant high hair-bun (chignon), ornate hairpins, and fluid, layered robes indicate high status—resembling classic representations of historical figures like Diao Chan The scene captures the classical motif of "Burning Incense Under the Moon" (????). She stands in a quiet garden setting beside a tall, decorative bronze or ceramic censer (xianglu), from which a gentle wisp of incense smoke rises into the evening air.
