Large decorative carved wooden carousel-style horse mounted on a freestanding black metal display stand, modeled in a lively prancing pose with raised foreleg, arched neck, flowing carved mane and tail, and expressive painted features. The horse is finished predominantly in white with silver-gray mane and tail, black hooves, and colorful tack in coral pink, green, yellow, burgundy, and black, including a molded saddle, bridle and decorative chest tassels. The substantial life-size presentation gives the piece strong visual presence as folk-art, carousel, or commercial décor. Condition shows scattered age and display wear including scratches, scuffs, paint loss, surface cracking and separations to the wooden body, with a noticeable break/separation and repair area where the tail joins the body, along with additional cracking and wear around the saddle and painted decoration. Measures 55"H x 56"L x 12"W.
