Formal dining suite consisting of eight Henkel-Harris Chippendale-style dining chairs accompanied by a mahogany double-pedestal dining table. The chairs feature pierced carved splats, molded frames, shaped arms on the armchairs, and upholstered seats in a salmon-pink foliate damask; an original Henkel-Harris label beneath one chair identifies The Henkel-Harris Co., Inc., Winchester, Virginia, with Finish No. 29 and Style No. 101A. The accompanying table is unmarked and features a broad rectangular top with rounded ends over turned pedestal supports terminating in shaped tripod feet. Condition shows normal age and use including scattered scuffs, scratches, light finish wear, and more noticeable surface scratching to the tabletop, with light wear to the upholstery. Table measures 29"H x 107.5"W x 45"D and 6 chairs are 37"H x 21"W x 19"D and 2 chairs are 37"H x 24.5"W x 19"D.
