Vintage coin-operated “Aristo” floor scale manufactured by the Pace Manufacturing Company of Chicago, Illinois, featuring a tall streamlined Art Deco-style body finished in white porcelain enamel with molded sunburst and fluted decoration. The chrome-plated upper housing retains its original weight chart, central dial window, penny coin slot, and embossed operating instructions including “Stand Still on Scale Then Deposit One Penny” and “Capacity 300 Lbs.” The black foot platform is fitted with a decorative brass-tone and red “Aristo / Pace Mfg. Company / Chicago, Ill.” insert. The scale is marked “Made in U.S.A.” and retains identification number 9387. Overall displays strong period commercial character with oxidation, surface wear, discoloration, scratches, and scattered losses consistent with age and use. The porcelain-enamel body has notable cracks, chips, and broken/loss areas around the upper housing as photographed. Measures 48"H x 12"W x 20"D.
