Early Coca-Cola commercial store cooler manufactured by Glascock Brothers, Muncie, Indiana, dating to the 1920s and retaining its desirable embossed advertising panels reading “Serve Yourself – Drink Coca-Cola – Please Pay the Clerk.” Constructed of galvanized metal on an open four-leg stand, the cooler features a deep rectangular insulated ice compartment with hinged metal top panels and lower cross supports. The manufacturer’s plate identifies the Glascock Brothers Manufacturing Company and notes production under license for Coca-Cola. The piece remains in notably untouched, unrestored presentation with extensive surface oxidation, fading and loss to the original red finish, scratches, staining, weathering, and general wear throughout, while the raised Coca-Cola lettering remains clearly visible. The interior shows additional oxidation and patina consistent with prolonged commercial use. Measures 38.5"H x 31.5"W x 23.5"D.
