Vintage Coca-Cola bottle vending machine manufactured by The Vendo Company, Kansas City, dating to approximately the 1960s and retaining its bold red “Enjoy Coca-Cola” advertising panel with white wave graphic and 10¢ bottle deposit notice. The tall cabinet features a vertical glass bottle-viewing compartment at left, coin-operated mechanism with coin return, faux woodgrain front panel, lower ventilation grille, locking service door with key, and an Atlanta Bottling Co. inventory tag numbered 02937. The upper control panel is marked “The Vendo Company – Kansas City” and instructs users not to deposit coins unless bottles are visible. Similar Vendo H63-series machines from this period use closely related cabinet proportions and coin-operated bottle dispensing systems. This example shows scratches, scuffs, surface wear, oxidation, grime, edge wear, and losses around the service hardware consistent with age and commercial use. Key is present. Refrigeration and vending function needs work. Measures 53.5"H x 27"W x 22"D.
