Large vintage Pepsi-Cola vending machine manufactured by Choice Vend, a division of The Seeburg Corporation, Chicago, Illinois, model CVC-280, serial no. F52458. The machine features a blue, white, and red painted steel cabinet with large illuminated-style Pepsi advertising panel across the top, side graphics reading “Pepsi-Cola / Have a Pepsi,” and a front selection bank configured for multiple bottle or can choices. The coin mechanism is marked for a 15-cent vend and the lower front panel is lettered “Served in Cans,” with chrome trim and a large product-delivery opening. Manufacturer plate identifies the unit as a “Bottle and Can Vendor,” rated 117 volts, 60 cycles, 11.3 amps, with refrigerant 12; patent information includes a 1964 Canadian patent, placing the machine in the mid-1960s period. Includes key. Shows age-appropriate wear throughout including scratches, scuffs, paint loss, oxidation, discoloration, surface grime, and wear to the graphics and metal trim.
