Decorative square wall plaque executed in high-relief with an antiqued gilt finish, presenting a richly modeled still-life composition inspired by classical music, literature, and the arts. The central arrangement features a prominent lyre framed by draped fabric, an upright candle in an ornamental holder, open and closed books, a fan, quill, scroll-like elements, laurel foliage, and additional scholarly or musical accessories, all modeled against deeply folded textile forms that create pronounced shadows and sculptural depth. A rope-twist inner border and broad molded outer frame reinforce the formal Neoclassical Revival character. The imagery draws heavily on the traditional iconography of music and learning, especially the lyre, a motif frequently employed in European decorative arts and later revival pieces. The present example appears to be a 20th-century decorative reproduction or revival piece rather than an early period architectural panel; material is not confirmed from the photograph and may be composition, molded resin, plaster, or another cast medium with gilt finish. Condition shows scattered surface rubbing, darkened recesses, minor abrasions and small edge losses consistent with age and display, while the relief remains crisp and visually impressive overall. Measures 24"H x 24"W.
