Set of six tall 20th-century rustic bamboo ladders, each constructed from naturally segmented bamboo uprights fitted with simple horizontal bamboo or wooden rungs. The group displays appealing variation in color and patina, ranging from warm honey and golden-brown tones to deeper dark brown finishes, with visible nodes, irregular pole diameters, hand-fitted construction, and occasional old bindings or repairs emphasizing their handmade utilitarian character. Their tall, slender proportions make them well suited for decorative use as blanket or textile ladders, architectural accents, retail displays, garden décor, or Asian-inspired furnishings. All six show substantial age and use, including scuffs, scratches, abrasions, weathering, dark staining, finish loss, scattered nicks and small losses, longitudinal splitting and cracking to several uprights, wear around nodes and rung joints, remnants of old labels or adhesive, and evidence of older repairs or bindings. Structural stability has not been tested, and due to the visible age-related wear and splitting, the ladders should be considered decorative rather than suitable for climbing or load-bearing use.
