Large Chinoiserie-style black lacquer breakfront display cabinet featuring a three-door glazed upper section with bold X-form muntins, gilt outlining, and a molded cornice with delicate floral decoration. The lower section is arranged with a central bank of drawers flanked by cabinet doors, decorated throughout with hand-painted Asian-inspired landscape, floral, and figural scenes in muted polychrome tones with gilt accents. Brass-tone hardware complements the dark lacquered finish, while the upper cabinet provides generous display space behind glass doors. The side base compartments are missing interior shelving, and the piece shows scattered scuffs, scratches, finish wear, and small areas of paint loss consistent with age and use. Measures 77.5"H x 60"W x 16"D.
