Vtg Frosted Glass Nude Intaglio Gilt Pendant Nk

A vintage pendant necklace featuring a rectangular gilt-tone frame set w/ a clear glass or crystal plaque reverse-carved and frosted w/ a neoclassical kneeling female nude figure seated on a low plinth, rendered in relief that reads white against the polished front surface. The gilt-tone frame is finished w/ a fine reeded and beaded border, w/ small looped bails at the two upper corners suspending the pendant from a delicate fancy-link gilt-tone chain. The chain terminates in a cylindrical barrel push-in clasp w/ hook-and-loop safety. No fineness marks located on the frame, chain, or clasp; metal appears consistent w/ gilt brass or gold-tone base metal (not silver or gold) despite the accompanying ‘Carrick Art Silver Pewter’ Irish presentation box, which does not appear original to this piece — the box is included w/ the lot but should be considered ancillary. Pendant frame measures 1.25 in. wide x 0.82 in. tall. Chain measures approximately 16 in. length. Shows wear to the gilt finish along the frame edges w/ brass tone showing through in high-touch areas; the glass intaglio is intact w/ no visible chips or cracks in the provided images; clasp functions.
