Antique one-gallon stoneware shoulder jug manufactured by the Western Stoneware Company of Monmouth, Illinois. Features a natural salt-glazed body, dark brown glazed shoulder and handle, and blue maple-leaf company logo. * Measures approximately 10 inches tall * Base measures approximately 7 inches in diameter * Approximately one-gallon capacity * Estimated early 1900s * Visible glaze crazing, stains and manufacturing irregularities * Small chips and roughness around the base edge * Wear appropriate for age and use If you have any doubt, please attend the preview and examine all photographs closely before bidding.
