Antique stoneware butter crock with blue advertising reading: "Lambrecht’s Butter Milwaukee – Chicago Jar Property of Lambrecht Creamery Please Return When Empty" These returnable commercial crocks were used by Lambrecht Creamery during the early 20th century, likely circa 1910s–1930s. Underside bears an impressed "C-2? pottery mark. Measures approximately 3.5 inches tall x 5.5 inches in diameter. No lid included. Condition includes a visible hairline crack extending downward from the rim through the lettering, along with staining, scuffing, glaze irregularities and rim wear.
