Vintage brass railroad padlock prominently marked "C.&O. R.R." on the shackle for the Chesapeake & Ohio Railroad. Includes attached security chain and key. Measures approximately 2.75 inches high x 2 inches wide. Tested and working with the included key. Heavy brass construction with surface wear, scratches, oxidation and patina consistent with age and railroad service. Early to mid-20th century railroad era. A desirable piece of Chesapeake & Ohio Railroad hardware with strong railroad markings, working key and attached chain.
