Original-style U.S. Model 1905 bayonet manufactured by Oneida Limited during World War II. The ricasso is marked "OL," “U.S.,” the Ordnance flaming-bomb emblem and “1942.” Features the desirable full-length, uncut blade, black ribbed grips and U.S.-marked military scabbard. * Approximately 21.5 inches long overall in scabbard * Approximately 16-inch uncut blade * Oneida Limited “OL” maker mark * Dated 1942 * U.S. Ordnance markings * Designed for the M1903 Springfield and M1 Garand rifles * Blade exhibits finish loss, surface oxidation, scratches and evidence of age/use * Scabbard exhibits finish wear, scratches, oxidation and age-related wear * Please examine all photographs for condition This item came from a collector’s estate.
