Vintage 1950s Minerva mechanical open-face pocket stopwatch featuring a 51.14mm chrome-plated base metal case with a protective inner metal dust cap cover and a hinge-opening solid caseback stamped internally with the Minerva Watch Co. arrow-in-triangle logo crest, "SWISS", "BASE METAL", and serial number 21226. The clean white enamel-style dial showcases a prominent 30-minute register tracking sub-dial below the 12 o'clock position, bold black stenciled 5-to-60 secondary numeric markers, an outer 1-to-60 seconds tracking ring, a blue counter hand, a central sweep seconds hand, and explicit text callouts reading "PATENT", "Minerva", and a lower "SWISS" callout. The watch is powered by a high-grade, factory-signed Swiss mechanical movement carrying a seven jewels configuration, an unadjusted balance assembly, a signed winding wheel, and bridge plates stamped "MINERVA WATCH Co". The exterior case shows a weathered finish with minor wear and spot oxidation along the bezel rims. This mechanical stopwatch is fully functional with crisp start, stop, and flyback reset actions at the time of listing, though a professional service is required for precision calibration.
