Vintage 1970s Wickersham mechanical open-face pocket watch featuring a 51.00mm chrome-plated base metal case. The polished screw-on caseback displays a clean, factory-etched streamline diesel locomotive train graphic. The white railroad style dial showcases bold black Arabic numeral hour tracks, an outer 1-to-60 numerical minute ring track, an inner 1-to-24 hour track register, bright blued steel hands, a sunken sub-seconds register dial above the 6 position, and text reading "Wickersham", "17 JEWELS", "INCABLOC", "UNBREAKABLE MAINSPRING", and a lower "SWISS MADE" callout. The watch is powered by a Swiss-made, unadjusted manual-wind movement signed De Jurtime Co. running a 17 jewels configuration and featuring an MWS import code on the balance bridge. The watch comes paired with a black leather watch fob strap holding a vintage brass Caterpillar track-type tractor advertising fob from Davies Machinery Co. in California, manufactured by Leavens Mfg. Co. Attleboro, Mass. This mechanical pocket watch is running as of the time of listing, though a professional service is required for accurate timekeeping, and extended runtime without service is not guaranteed.
