Vintage 1950s A.R. & J.E. Meylan mechanical open-face pocket stopwatch featuring a 49.95mm base metal case with an inner metal dust cap cover and a hinge-opening solid caseback stamped internally with "MEYLAN STOPWATCH CO" and "SWISS". The clean white enamel-style dial showcases a prominent 30-minute register tracking sub-dial centered below the 12 o'clock red zero index ring, stylized black stenciled numeral hour paths, blue spade-style main hands, a central sweep counter hand, and crisp dial text reading "A.R. & J.E. MEYLAN", "TYPE 208A", and a lower "SWISS" callout. The watch is powered by a high-grade, factory-signed Swiss-made mechanical movement carrying serial number 585574, an AXJ import code engraving on the balance cock, a seven jewels configuration, and plates stamped "MEYLAN STOPWATCH CO SWISS".
