This vintage GIA (Gemological Institute of America) gemological instrument is a specialized piece of equipment associated with gemstone and diamond examination. The unit features a distinctive two-tone gray and cream metal housing, adjustable viewing/magnification hood, front control knobs, and an integrated power cord. GIA equipment was used in professional gemological education, laboratory work, and gemstone evaluation.
