This vintage Marshall System / Marshall Refill System watchmaker’s material cabinet drawer is filled with a large assortment of organized paper envelopes containing vintage watch movement parts. The drawer includes thousands of small labeled packets containing components such as mainsprings, stems, bridges, clicks, balance-related parts, and other movement components. The assortment includes replacement parts associated with historic American watch manufacturers including Elgin, Waltham, and Bulova. The Marshall refill system was designed to help professional watchmakers efficiently organize and access large inventories of small replacement parts at the repair bench. The original organization and extensive assortment make this an especially interesting piece of horological history and watchmaker-shop equipment. Condition: Shows age-related wear from decades of workshop storage and handling. The wooden cabinet/drawer and paper packets may have scratches, dust, discoloration, staining, fading, and other age-related wear. The individual packets and contents have not been inventoried or verified, and some may be empty, incomplete, or contain parts other than what their labels indicate. Please review all photos carefully for condition, labels, brands, and included contents. Untested; sold as-is for repair, restoration, parts, display, or collection.
