This vintage C. & E. Marshall Co. tabletop electric toy range / miniature stove or salesman sample features a black-enameled and chrome metal body with ventilation slots, a lift-style design, and an original brown two-prong power cord. The back panel is equipped with a Mark-Time mechanical timer, adding considerable interest to this unusual vintage piece. The unit bears a C. & E. Marshall Co. identification tag referencing Chicago and Principal Cities. C. & E. Marshall was an established supplier of specialized watchmaking, jewelry, and precision equipment, with documented catalogs and equipment dating to the early 20th century. The exact original purpose of this particular unit should be considered unconfirmed. It may have been a small electric toy range, demonstration/salesman’s sample, or specialty heating appliance. The Mark-Time timer and compact construction make it an especially interesting vintage electrical collectible. Condition: Shows age-related wear including scratches, finish loss, discoloration, oxidation, and general signs of storage and previous use. The power cord, timer, heating elements, switches, and electrical components have not been tested. The cord is an older two-prong style and should be professionally inspected before any attempt at operation. Please review all photos carefully for markings, condition, and completeness. Untested; sold as-is for repair, restoration, parts, display, or collection.
