Amber glass bottle molded as a corncob pipe, made by Avon and fitted with a dark navy blue plastic stem trimmed with a gold-tone collar ring. The bowl carries molded corn kernel texture and the glass shows no chips or cracks. The paper label on the base is bright and fully readable: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN, AVON CORNCOB PIPE, WILD COUNTRY AFTER SHAVE, 3 FL. OZ., AVON PRODUCTS, INC., NEW YORK, N.Y. The original consignor listing called the bottle empty, but the photos show amber liquid still standing in the neck and stem, so it appears to retain part of its contents. The consignor gives the length as roughly 6 inches. Condition is very good with light handling wear to the stem collar. Buyers of vintage Avon bottles pay for a complete stem and a clean, readable base label, both of which this one has. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot.
