Avon Canada Goose Amber Glass Decanter

Figural Canada goose decanter in amber-brown glass, molded with feather texture across the body and finished glossy. The head and neck lift off as the cap, molded in black plastic with a silver-tone bill and the white chin patch that identifies a Canada goose. The paper label on the base reads Avon and CANADA GOOSE; the line beneath it is torn away, so only part of the product wording is still readable, and there is yellowing and adhesive residue around the label edge. The glass shows no chips or cracks and the cap fits securely. Overall good condition, with the damaged label the main flaw. Avon ran a long series of wildlife decanters through the 1970s, and collectors of that series want two things: a complete original cap and an undamaged base label.
