Avon Wild Country Candlestick Phone Decanter

Avon Wild Country cologne bottle molded as an old candlestick telephone, in gold tone finished glass with a black plastic mouthpiece insert, a black plastic receiver that hangs on the side hook and a chrome tone cap at the top of the stem. The paper label on the base reads Avon Wild Country Cologne, 6 FL. OZ., Avon Products Inc, N.Y., N.Y. 10020. Wild Country was Avon's western themed men's fragrance and the figural containers made for that line in the 1970s are the ones collectors chase, particularly with the receiver still present as it is here. Condition is good with honest shelf wear. The gold finish is chipped and flaking around the outer ring of the base, there are scattered scratches and rubs on the stem and the black receiver is scuffed, but receiver, hook and cap are all there and the glass shows no chips or cracks. The photos do not show whether any cologne remains inside. Offered as a decorative collectible. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot.
