Holy Bible with Amity Key Case and Coin Purse

Black leather-bound Holy Bible together with two small leather goods. (1) The Bible is a Nelson pronouncing illustrated edition, gilt lettered Holy Bible on the front cover and Holy Bible Illustrated down the spine, with a limp overlapping binding, red under gold page edges, a sewn-in ribbon marker, color plates and a Books of the Bible reference bookmark laid in. The covers are rubbed with wear at the spine ends and corners and the text block is sound. (2) A tooled tan leather key case, gold stamped Amity Key Kaddy inside, with a snap flap and six nickel key hooks; it holds one flat key and an oval tag reading Amity Leather Prod. Co., West Bend, Wis. Amity was a long-running Wisconsin leather goods maker and its stamped pieces are collectible in their own right. (3) A small brown leather snap coin purse with a two-compartment interior, no maker mark visible. Condition is fair to good - the leather is dry and crazed on the key case and the coin purse is creased and darkened, but every snap still closes. Sold as-is.
