An Art Nouveau style porcelain cup and saucer set, likely of European origin. The set is crafted from fine white porcelain featuring scalloped rims and a bifurcated gilded scroll handle. The base of the cup is designed with a moulded petal-like form highlighted with gold. The decoration consists of hand-painted stylised foliate and scroll motifs in teal, black, and gold, set within panels of pale lavender-blue and white. The base of the cup is marked with hand-gilt characters 2376 Z and 4058, while the saucer is marked 4058. Diameter approx. 12.5 cm. Condition: The set is in good antique condition. There is minor rubbing to the gilding, particularly on the handle and rims. A small fleabite is visible on the scalloped rim of the cup. The set is otherwise free from chips, cracks, or apparent restoration.
