This is a vintage board game titled The Inventors: Parker Brothers Game of Crazy Inventions, copyright 1974. The game focuses on the theme of purchasing and investing in actual historical eccentric inventions. The set is housed in its original cardboard box which features bilingual English and French titling: The Inventors and Le Jeu des Inventions Folles de Parker Brothers. The collection includes a bi-fold cardboard game board featuring colorful graphics of inventions such as the Air Conditioned Rocking Chair, Parachute Hat, and Eye Protector for Chickens. Internal components are organized within a black plastic storage tray and include Inventors Money in various denominations, Eureka! cards, and Invention cards. Playing equipment consists of colored plastic pawns, a pair of red dice, and white plastic Patent Claim Clips with red numbering. The lot also includes the cardboard components for the assembly of the Incredible Patent Picker Move Maker Machine and the original printed paper instruction sheet. A large black cardboard insert is present. The box lid features a printed scene of characters in a patent attorney's office. Dimensions: W approx. 18 3/4 inches (measured against a ruler). Condition: The box shows shelf wear consistent with age, including scuffing and minor compression at the corners and edges. The internal components appear well-preserved within the original tray. The game board retains vibrant colors and shows minimal surface wear. The instruction sheet exhibits expected age-related toning.
