A French white glazed porcelain serving dish manufactured by Revol Porcelaine, modeled in the form of a hen. The deep vessel features an embossed feather motif across the exterior. One end is molded into a chicken head with a comb and wattle, while the opposite end flares into a tail. The underside features an impressed maker mark within a square border reading REVOL la Porcelaine, accompanied by the text FRANCE and modele depose. Additional impressed markings include a W and the number 12. The dish is accompanied by its original cardboard shipping box labeled for a Dansk Poultry Dish, model P12-88, reference RE022. Dimensions: Length approx. 33.7 cm; Height approx. 12.7 cm (note: ruler showed only inches). Condition: The porcelain is in good condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. Minor pinpoint dark inclusions from the firing process are present in the interior glaze. The original box exhibits shelf wear, including tape residue and retail price labels.
