This lot features two clear pressed glass oval serving platters from the Meteor line by VEBA-GLAS AG, manufactured in Essen, West Germany. The set consists of one open oval serving platter and one Kabarett style hors d'oeuvre platter featuring four molded interior compartments. Both pieces exhibit a consistent molded diamond-point pattern on the exterior base, radiating from a smooth circular central medallion. The rims are scalloped, corresponding to the geometry of the relief pattern. The platters are presented in their original black retail boxes with clear lids, printed with the stylized Meteor brand name. Side labels on the boxes identify the items as being made in West Germany and provide the reference number 35 00 134. The manufacturer mark VEBA-GLAS AG Essen is printed on the lower edge of the packaging. Dimensions: Length 28 cm (approx. 11 inches). Condition: The glass platters are in excellent condition and appear unused, with no visible chips, cracks, or clouding. The original retail boxes are present and intact, showing minor shelf wear consistent with age and storage.
