This vintage train case by Fly-lyte is constructed with a hard shell covered in forest green textured vinyl. It features a green plastic handle with a decorative silver-tone metal inset displaying the maker name in cursive script. The case is equipped with two silver-tone metal flip-latch locks stamped Cheney England. The interior is lined with blue-grey patterned and quilted fabric. The underside of the lid contains a rectangular mirror and a single elasticized storage pocket. A removable three-compartment plastic tray with a white marbled finish is located in the main compartment. Dimensions measured against a ruler: Height approx. 8.25 inches Width approx. 11.5 inches. Condition: The item is in vintage condition showing signs of age and use. The vinyl exterior exhibits surface dust and minor scuffing. The metal hardware shows light oxidation. The interior fabric lining has visible staining and foxing throughout. The ribbon supports for the lid are frayed and separating. The interior plastic tray remains intact. Keys are not included.
